Anastasia Smallwood & Mitzy
Mitzy is a 4 year old Bichon Frise. She was born on April 15th 2005. She currently lives in Quispamsis with her owner/ best friend Anastasia Smallwood oh, and their parents Blaine and Anne.
Mitzy started agility in 2007 at the age of two. At first she wasn’t quite sure how to act. Coming from Obedience she was quite sure if she was allowed to run around or if she had to “heel” by Anastasia’s side. Soon enough though she caught on; and now we can’t keep her still! Mitzy loves agility very much she especially enjoys running around a course at top speed. Her favorite obstacle is probably the A-frame because she can zoom off it at the end (after touching her contact of course).

Mitzy has competed at several trials throughout the Maritimes. She really enjoys going to trails as does Anastasia. Together they have competed at 2008 AAC Nationals in the Steeplechase Competition and also attended the NB/PEI Regionals last year.
Other than Agility Mitzy has competed in Rally-O and Obedience. She started Obedience at three months old and competed at the tender age of one. She has her Canine Citizenship Award and plans to visit nursing homes in the future. Mitzy is a dog who loves life. She is content to sit in her kennel and watch the day go by. She loves to sleep and chew on bones. She also enjoys digging up the flower beds in the backyard.

Mitzy is handled by Anastasia Smallwood. She is only seventeen years old and loves doing agility with her dog. Anastasia loves playing agility with Mitzy but wishes she had more time to do so. Anastasia is a busy girl with school, ballet and music lessons. Together the team hopes to one day make it to Nationals. They are very proud to be one of FAST’s youngest members and hope to make them proud.
